About Me

I am currently a Lecturer and Master’s supervisor at the School of Computer and Communication Engineering, Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao. I received my Ph.D. degree in Cyberspace Security from the School of Cyber Science and Engineering, Wuhan University, in December 2023, under the supervision of Prof. Xiaohui Cui.

My research interests include machine learning, data mining, generative models, imbalanced learning, object detection and segmentation, and multimodal learning. My current research focuses on leveraging deep generative models to address data imbalance and small-sample challenges in machine learning, thereby improving the performance of downstream classification and segmentation tasks.

Since 2025, I have been recruiting Master’s and undergraduate students, and I welcome motivated students to join my group.

Machine Learning & Deep Learning

Focusing on generative adversarial networks (GANs), diffusion model, imbalanced learning, and data augmentation techniques for various applications in computer vision and cybersecurity.

Computer Vision

Specializing in infrared small target detection, medical image analysis, and superpixel segmentation with emphasis on practical applications.

Cybersecurity & Network Security

Research interests include network intrusion detection, anomaly detection systems, and the application of machine learning techniques in cybersecurity domain.

Multimodal Learning

Focusing on the integration of heterogeneous data sources such as text, images, and structured data, developing advanced models for cross-modal representation learning, data fusion, and downstream applications.
